David Sterling has over 40 years of experience as a certified public accountant. A native of Sioux City, Iowa, he is a graduate of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and has a M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Commerce of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. While attending Northwestern University, he was employed with a local accounting firm in Chicago, Illinois. Following graduation, he served two years in the military. He returned to Sioux City, Iowa following his military service and joined a local CPA firm and subsequently became a partner. In 1969, he started a new accounting firm which is now Sterling Delperdang & Co., P.C.
David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is a member of the Sioux City Chamber of Commerce and has been President of the Jewish Federation, a past board member of Shaare Zion Synagogue, Commander of the Sioux City Jewish War Veterans and President of B'nai Brith.
